Muskegon Lake, Color Me Clean

In 2022, I had the opportunity to partner with the West Michigan Shoreline Regional Development Commission (WMSRDC) to create and produce an educational coloring book about the environmental restoration of Muskegon Lake, the largest inland port on Michigan’s western shoreline.

The book, Muskegon Lake, Color Me Clean, interactively tells a story of the wildlife hosted in and around the lake, the historic pollution of the lake, and the ongoing restoration of the lake. My work included the writing the narrative, illustrating each page, and designing the graphic layout and typographical structure of the book.
