Reimagine Muskegon
In 2014, I co-created Reimagine Muskegon, a social media based project built to increase interest and engagement in urban design for residents of Muskegon, Michigan.
Beginning on Facebook, this project took shape as short articles introducing and discussing various topics regarding urban design in Muskegon, its historical context, and its future implications. Each post was accompanied by an image with a title and photographic context of the topic as well as an open ended question to attract comments and further discussion.
This project eventually expanded to Twitter, where we shared short thoughts and other resources regarding urban design. Over the two year span of this project, we garnered over 600 followers across Facebook and Twitter, including residents, local organizations, and city officials.
